Simon and I are thrilled to be performing Mozart’s incredible Concerto for Two Pianos K365 with the Hallé and Ed Gardner on 1st March in one of our favourite venues, Bridgewater Hall. BBC Proms 2009

In the afternoon we presented a brand new commission: “Left Light”, a witty Two Piano Concerto by Anna Meredith, which we performed with Britten Sinfonia and Ludovic Morlot, and old friend and contemporary student of ours at the RAM; and in the evening we joined Colin Currie and Sam Walton for an incredibly enjoyable Bártok Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion. We have worked together with Colin and Sam quite a bit, and it is always an honour and an inspiration! Here are the details.
